About This File

A simple mod that enables Binoculars in Teardown.  Binoculars can be activated by pressing "b" and then zooming in and out with the middle mouse button. 

 

 

Install:

To install, unzip the binoculars.zip file and place the binoculars folder into your Mydocuments/teardown/mods folder. you should then see a "Binoculars" file in your in game mod menu, click enable and they will function on pressing the b button in game. 

 

Customisation:

Multiple Different sets of lenses for the binoculars can be enabled through the mods options menu, of different colours and cleanliness. 

 

 

Many thanks to My Cresta for their help in making this mod work and inspiration to try out player based scoping mechanics.

They are awsome! Simple and useful to carry with you at all times. Thanks for making these!

They have also been more than helpful for me in figuring out how i can get zoom for my weapons to work! ❤️

This is awesome.  Great work.  The options menu doesn't seem to allow me to change lenses though.  It just show a black screen saying Binoculars at the top.   I was able to change lens settings in the LUA however.  Also the install directions might be a bit unclear referencing the "infotxt".  The zip has 1 folder labeled binoculars only to open it up to another folder labeled binoculars.  In my opinion, remove the extra binoculars folder and just say "place the folder labeled binoculars in your teardown mods folder".  Please take no offense, constructive criticism only.  Again, great mod.

Yeah, sorry, i'll clean them up. It should provide you a button with the selected option and update in gamebut i'll give it a second look in the morning. 

Admittedly the info.txt thing was a kneejerk response after seeing people getting mixed up so i'll make those easier to say just move this folder here. 

no offence taken at all, personally much prefer this feedback as it lets me know how people view what i put out and make it better for future releases. 

I very much hope that the quick update i do to this tomorrow will get a quick update from you to let me know if i amended these issues, as I genuinely care about mods i release working for everybody and being accessible!.
