  1. Binoculars

    A simple mod that enables Binoculars in Teardown.  Binoculars can be activated by pressing "b" and then zooming in and out with the middle mouse button. 
     
     
    Install:
    To install, unzip the binoculars.zip file and place the binoculars folder into your Mydocuments/teardown/mods folder. you should then see a "Binoculars" file in your in game mod menu, click enable and they will function on pressing the b button in game. 
     
    Customisation:

    Multiple Different sets of lenses for the binoculars can be enabled through the mods options menu, of different colours and cleanliness. 
     
     
    Many thanks to My Cresta for their help in making this mod work and inspiration to try out player based scoping mechanics.

  3. Time Control

    A mod for Teardown v0.5.0+ that makes it possible to freeze and unfreeze time while still able to move around and change objects locations! It is in a very early state so don't expect a lot from it (still very experimental) and the current Teardown API is a bit limited. Please have this in mind when you rate the mod and make sure to ask me on discord if it does not work for you!
     
    How to install
    Here is a step by step guide on how to install Teardown UMF by the creator that you can follow https://github.com/Thomasims/TeardownUMF-Examples/wiki/Installation-Guide
    You need to locate the folder where teardown.exe is installed, this can be managed by either right clicking Teardown in Steam > Manage > Browse local files or locating where you installed Steam > steamapps > common > Teardown. Here you will find teardown.exe and a few other folders, at this point you need to download TeardownUMF and move the content inside of the folder TeardownUMF-master (in the zip file) to the same folder as the teardown.exe file. There should now be a hook_modloader.bat file near teardown.exe and a mods folder with a folder called umf inside (and the default mods). When all of this has been done then you need to make sure to run the hook_modloader.bat file to hook it to the game.
    After this is installed and extracted, do the same with the mod-vX.X.zip but extract it in the (C):/Users/%USERNAME%/Doucments/Teardown/mods folder instead.
     
    How to use
    Press T to freeze/unfreeze time.

  4. The Floor is Lava

    will be adding win/endgame soon...
     
    Now With Fire from the lava and Random Explosions in options! 🌋🔥🧨  Thanks to @Jbeam for the idea.
    A game about getting up higher then the lava floor that is rising up to you. Played best on Hunted or sandbox mode. In Options you can set if objects float in lava (may lag if not on lee) and how fast the lava is. This mod works well with my Double Jump mod and Invincible mod.

  5. Cinematic Choppers

    This is a small but very fun mod that decreases the choppers accuracy heavily, but also increases shooting speed to make it look much more cool. 
    Preview:
    Installation:
    1. Unzip "Cinematic Choppers.zip"
    2. Copy the folder called "data" into you main directory. (the main directory is where teardown.exe is located)
    3. Choose to overwrite any files if asked to
    4. Just start the game and enjoy the Chopper. It's very unlikely they will kill you even when you stand completely still.
     
    Not fully finished, as this mod doesn't change the chopper in the games final Frustum mission. It does, however work when entering Frustum with challenge mode and choosing "Hunted" mode.

  6. SirCode's Cheats Mod - A simple fiddler and cheat menu

    This project was a little creation of mine that's entire goal was to create a working Cheat menu using the new modloader, without modifying ANY of the default scripts of the game.
    What I mean is, this entire script runs within the modloader's options.lua and main.lua
    It doesn't replace any of the game's default scripts, which means its compatible with any other mod.
    It also doesn't replace any default assets of any kind. Its a completely compatible standalone mod.
    I know only 2 cheats work right now, but getting cheats to work without modifying default scripts is DIFFICULT alright?
    Currently it supports these cheats:
    Infinite Mission Time Just makes the timer on every mission super long so its essentially infinite. Infinite Ammo  Whatever weapon you're holding will just have infinite ammo, just like sandbox mode. Simple as that. Infinite Health Literally in the name, refills the health as you take damage. Nearly impossible to die unless you spam hundreds of bombs per frame (Like using click explode hack for example) NoClip Flight / Static Camera Flight Allows you to fly around the world without being affected by boundaries or forces and gravity. Vehicle Boost / Fly Configurable speed and the controls are located inside of the mod options. Basically acts like a rocket engine attached to the car. Player Boost / Fly  Same as vehicle boost, but with more air control. You can easily accidentally fall through the world or send yourself to enormously high heights with this Temporarily Unlock All Tools  Just gives you all weapons. You will need to tap the key-bind every time you die or enter a level, since its only a temporary thing. Velocity Burst  / Blow Away Stuff Hack Small Parts will be sent everywhere destroying everything... so prepare for lag. If you dont have a decent processor, this hack will kind of suck to use.. This can destroy entire maps if used in the right way Debug Info This is a small mod that I've included as an extra option because its useful in development I left it in as an optional cheat option because some people also want it. It essentially just draws a line to where your facing, and draws a cross where it hit. It logs all the information on the top left ingame. Click Fire / Fire Wand I've made the tool that activates it customizable. (I recommend using the spraycan) Click Explode / Bomb Wand This can crash the game, as such I've made the tool that activates it customizable. I also added a button to toggle paint mode (So you have to spam or click for each individual bomb, rather than painting a line of explosives) Click Delete / NOTHING IS INDESTRUCTIBLE 😄 You can use this tool to literally delete chunks of the world. You can delete anything... Even if its indestructible or outside of the map. Click Destroy / #OBLITERATE This CAN and WILL crash your game if used incorrectly... This hack sets any object it touches as a massive explosive, as such, it can be used to utterly destroy and obliterate any building / vehicle or object in the game. Its essentially Click Explode on Steroids. Uses a small exploit in the game's engine to set an object explosive and blow it up. This has NO LIMITATIONS on the Explosive Power (Soon to be fully customizable) Currently locked it at power 10 while I'm working on the mod (For reference, the max explosion size is normally 4) If the object you clicked does not blow up immediately, then shoot it. It essentially turns objects into explosives.\ Epic Ingame Menu You can enable this through the normal options Allows you to configure and change the settings of all the cheats within the game. Hit Enter ingame to open it. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
    Extract the zip file and drag the "SirCodesCheatsMod" folder into your teardown savegame directory -> Teardown \ Mods \ SirCodesCheatsMod \ (Mod Files) Some zip extractors put the content into a second folder Make sure there is not 2 folders. Only 1 with the mod files in it. IMPORTANT THIS IS NOT A TEARDOWN UMF MOD
    However it should work with UMF 0.5.1 and above
    This mod was created to work on versions 0.5.1 and above

It is in a very early state so don't expect a lot from it (still very experimental) and the current Teardown API is a bit limited.     How to use
    When in game press tab and click on the button on the bottom left corner, you will see a menu open with parameters you can change (all settings should be saved automatically). The controls and features are listed below.
    FPS counter will show the current frames per seconds as a small text at the top right corner that will change color between green and red depending on if the game runs slow (red) or fast (green). Voxel breaker makes you able to break most solid voxels with the sledge, this makes it easy to destroy walls or such. Voxel builder will freeze/unfreeze objects in their place when you press C while holding them or when looking at them (while they are in range). Flight will make you able to fly around with WASD keys (space to ascend and z to decend), you can also fly faster or slower by scrolling forwards or backwards (if you want to switch objects while flying instead use keys 0-9). Godmode will make you immune to any damage.

  8. Performance Mod

    A mod for Teardown v0.5.0+ that will increase performance drastically when large dynamic and static objects are destroyed. This is still in a very early state so do not expect a lot from it as the Teardown API is still very limited. Please have this in mind when you rate the mod and make sure to ask me on discord if it does not work for you (note, if your screen is black on world launch you should change the render scale to above 0)!

    How to use
    This mod works with the options section in the official Teardown mod manager tab, there you will find a few options to tweak for the performance benefits you need. Simply the options you have work as follows.
    FPS counter displays a number in the top right corner that is roughly your FPS (due to some constraints in the Teardown API this isn't fully accurate and won't display below 30FPS). This will update every in-game second to be humanly readable. Light disabler will disable all lights when you enter a world, this doesn't have a huge performance impact but was still an easy feature to implement. Debris cleaner removes all broken debris that is smaller and lighter then a set value with the slider found below called debris size. This will also change exponential to your FPS (lower FPS, larger debris removed). Dynamic debris is an experimental feature but could be useful if many dynamic objects are in play, it works by changing all bodies out of the player range to static to avoid loads of gravity calculations when the player doesn't care about the objects (hard coded range is 15 for now).

    its a speedometer, except it have a digital display that tell you the speed in numbers and also more fitting to the vanilla UI style, with a dash placement like what u found in typical racing games, have option to choose between KMH and MPH

  10. Elboydo's Armed Vehicle Framework (AVF)

    Description:
     
    A framework that enables people to create their own armed vehicles with ease and minimal configuration. 
     
    Vehicles will be able to mount an array of weapons from simple machine guns to artillery launchers with ease, each with their own weapon zoom, ammo capacities, and ammo types. Including penetration mechanics. 
     
    This will work with any AVF compatible vehicle in any loaded map, provided that they are configured correctly.
     
    Player enabled overrides allow users to modify almost any available weapon parameter to their needs. 

    INSTALLATION:
    ensure you have the latest experimental version of teardown (5.1 at this time), this will not work on any version <5.1.  copy the AVF folder into your documents/teardown/mods/ folder.  ensure that you activate it as a global mod in the mod tree, this will ensure any AVF compatible vehicle will function as intended.     Simple vehicle config: 
     
    To prepare your armed vehicle, this framework follows this simple concept: A vehicle has a body, a body has a chassis, and a body also may have a turret joint connected to a turret. 
     
    A vehicle body and / or a turret may then be connected to a gun joint, so long as a gunjoint is connected to your guns barrel then this script can find it. 
     
    a gun joint typically being a vertical hinge that goes up and down. 
     
    Quick config for a vehicle is as follows:

    This will define a simple tank using a 2A46M tank gun. 
     
    The logic for this mod is as follows: You have a vehicle with a body. That body would have a main chassis, this chassis then may have joints connecting to guns, called gunJoints, and then joints connected to turrets, called "turretJoints", these "turretJoints" then may have further "turretJoints" and more importantly "gunJoints". 
     
     
    The below image defines how a T90 Tank is defined, with a Turret that has smoke grenade capacity on the main turret, alongside a weapon defined for the 2A46 tank gun. This gun is also configured for the gun name to show as "BAD_BOY_DISCO", and changing the first magazine of the gun from the original 125mm heat to APHR. Users can also change many other values from gun rpm, sounds, projectile velocity, calibre, tracer style, penetration depth, etc. 
     
    the first and fastest step to configure your own vehicle may be to copy the structure of the contents of the "tags=""" parts of this image onto your vehicle. 
    Key words for this tool are always 
     
    cfg=vehicle   - tells the script that this is a player vehicle
    component=  - tells the script what part of the vehicle this is

    USAGE IN XML: 
     
    for simple modification of a gun type, use the "@ITEM=VALUE" hotkey. Items that above that are enclosed in curly brackets - {} need an initializer.

    gun barrel modification ( works for gun barrels, backblasts) these work by having the keyword E.G @barrels followed by @barrels1x to change the x value of the first barrel location.  gun sights work this way but only take values with 1 as only one gun sight per gun is supported
     
     
    example Below changes the technical mg in the technical playgrounds gun location and changes the first magazine to use larger tracer rounds that are green.

    In theory, you would never need to edit any lua with this code. It is purely XML configs on any compatible vehicle. Through simple XML tags. 
     
     
    While Custom gun sights and sounds may be needed but it's best to embed them within the LEVEL and have a pointer to them in your xml tags.

    If you have any custom sights, or sounds, or pre-configed weapons you would like added to the base mod then i would happily include them if you give me the basic info / files, provided you can ensure they would work in normal situations through xml config. 



    There also is included a custom lua config file which you can utilize by wrapping an editor instance of your vehicle in the script and then modifying the values in there with named keywords to add extra weapons to fit your vehicle. 
     
    This was largely made in a day, i may still be hungover, a better description of using this will be provided with potential video application later on when i get round to it.  If you have an questions or notice any issues then please don't hesitate t contact me.

    1. Download the zip
    2. Extract contents from zip file
    3. Take the folder containing main.lua, options.lua, and info.txt and put it in your mod folder in documents/teardown/mods
    4. Enable mod in teardown

  15. Fang's Custom Weapons

    This mod will only work with version 0.5 or later. There are a few minor issues present, but nothing major. Planned updates are on the way.

    You can now open the menu by pressing "M" instead of going into the escape menu. You will be able to change the hotkey soon.

    This mod allows you to shoot weapons with your own settings. You can set your RPM (rounds per minute), spread, ammo type (rockets or bullets), bullets per shot,  infinite ammo, burst firing mode, and recoil/flash visibility! 
    How much can you change your custom gun?
    RPM ranges from 10 to 10000  Spread ranges from 0 to 10, with 10 having the most spread You can change your ammo type from bullets to ROCKETS! Bullets per shot ranges from 1 to 100. However, the game gets very laggy when its set to 100, so make sure your rpm isnt too high! Burst speed ranged from 60 to 2000. This controls the speed between each shot in a burst with the higher number making it faster Burst shots ranges from 2 to 10 rounds per burst. Set a tool that the mod is restricted to

    How to use:
    1. Enable the mod in the game's main menu
    2. Press "M" to open up the menu (this also closes the menu)
    3. You should now see options to change the RPM, spread, and bullets per shot. You should also see buttons to toggle Modded weapon, Rocket ammo, Infinite ammo, Burst firing mode, and a Recoil/Flash hider.
    Modded weapon allows you to shoot with the given RPM and spread. It will work on any tool
              as long as you hold the mouse button down. It is enabled by default. Rocket ammo allows you to shoot rockets (while "Modded weapon" is on) at the given RPM
              and spread. Infinite ammo allows you make all normal weapon ammo infinite. The modded weapon ammo is inherently
          infinite, so you do not need this on unless you are not using modded weapon. Burst mode allows you to shoot in bursts with custom rounds per burst and delay per shot in each burst Recoil/Flash allows you to hide the initial flash and recoil when shooting with the mod Mod's HUD allows you to hide or show the new HUD in v1.2. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    To do:
     Add custom model integration (possibly tied to rpm/spread/bullets per shot) so others can use this script for their own voxel weapon models.  Create Github page  Add recoil if possible - If anyone knows out how to do this I would appreciate any help!  Add damage and range slider if possible  Add option for finite ammo counter (and maybe reloading?)   17. Finally Sprinting

    Description
    This mod adds sprinting to a game that can sometimes be infuriating without sprinting. We all know you've been there, nearly having thrown yourself off a cliff trying to get the last optional missions on that one level. Well throw yourself off a cliff no longer! Sprint off it instead!
    Installation
    - To install, drag the 'Finally Sprinting' folder into 'C:\Program Files\Steam\steampapps\common\mods' or wherever your 'mods' folder is.
    - To enable, open up the mod manager in game, and toggle the enabled option on the mod.
    - To use, just double tap 'W' like in Minecraft and sprint should boost into action.
    Known Problems
    Yes, I know that sprinting sharp turns do not work in this mod. The reason is, I cannot directly modify the walk speed in the code. Instead I have to take the direction the player is already travelling, and multiply it by a certain degree to simulate sprinting. This makes it more like gliding on ice than sprinting but it gets the job done.

    ADDED a vox model for Thors Hammer which looks awsome, thanks to cCheerSs for making it and letting me use it
    To use it: place thorhammer.vox in "Teardown/data/vox/tool", rename sledge.vox to something else to save it, then rename thorhammer.vox to sledge.vox and voila!
    Features:
    Bring down powerful lightning that leaves smoke and fire like the real ones. Store up to ten objects, they are teleported below the map, you can teleport them in front of you with the spray (Very experimental) Grow big biceps and throw objects with very high velocity, the bigger the thing you can grab, the harder you throw it. Blink like a mage without cooldown using the mouse scroll down Grab and rotate stuff (Very experimental, works well with vehicles and some interactables, does not work well with world shapes) Functions:
    Swing your hammer to smack down a violent lightning bolt Throw something with plank equipped to store it Spray with can to spawn it in front of you Throw something very hard with extinguisher equipped Scroll down with rocker launcher equipped to teleport 10m in aim direction Grab things with blowtorch equipped to rotate it Press TAB and click the Stronk Mod button in the bottom left corner for options menu
      I have included two ways of installation, use one of them:
    If you don't have any other modded ui files and just want to test this mod, use the first method.
    If you already have modded files and would like to run this mod together with it, you can install with method 2, it will only place a hook at the end of the needed lua files without replacing any of your existing code.
    Second method also includes a console in the main menu and esc menu.

    To use vox model: place thorhammer.vox in "Teardown/data/vox/tool", rename sledge.vox to something else to save it, then rename thorhammer.vox to sledge.vox and voila!

    In order to import a bunch of maps instead of replacing the existing 5 over and over again i would suggest you use this menu script.

  22. 0.5.2 Quickloader (Skips Splashscreens)

    This Quickload mod will save you time.  Previous splashscreen skippers do not work with the current Teardown version (0.5.2), so I made this extremely simple fix/mod is for those who don't mess with coding.
    To install:
    Unzip (right click and choose unzip) Copy "0.5.2 Quickloader - skips splashscreens" mod folder (right click and choose copy or press ctrl+c) Open your Teardown install location (open Steam, Right click Teardown and click -> Properties -> Local files tab -> Browse local files button.)  Backup original file splash.lua (navigate to data\ui and rename splash.lua to splash-original.lua to create a backup of original file, then go back to parent folder "Teardown" Paste in the folder where you see Teardown.exe (right click and choose paste or press ctrl+v ). Play Teardown and save time not watching the intro again and again 🤪

    Requires the mod loader which is included in the experimental version of the game
    Installation: Place the explosion folder inside the zip file into your mods folder
    Allows you to plant explosives on objects and detonate them.
    The explosives move with the object they are placed on
    Controls:
    X - Place explosive
    C - Detonate explosives
    U - Clear explosives
    Options:
    Strength slider from 0.0 to 4.0 (max)

  25. Universal Door Latch Script [Now with sound effects!]

    New sound effect support! Add =vehicle or =structure to your latch tag!
    like so:
    <vox tags="Latch=vehicle" ...  
    This script allows for a generalized approach to latching doors without the need to give joints individual names and write custom scripts to look for those name specifically.
    When the door is close enough to the closed position (limit "0"), it will apply a slight force to keep it closed. When you grab the door, it removes that force, allowing you to open the door. following this, it will remain loose until the door returns to its closed position. That means that if you leave a car door open, you could use your brakes to close it. This is different than other implementations that use interactions (button prompt) that switch the direction of the force. This is due mostly to my own preference, but also due to how the script checks for each door. It could probably be easily changed though if you prefer that method.
     
    An example vehicle (In this case, the yellow van) is included in the files.
     
    To use: (READ CAREFULLY)
    Drop the folder from the .zip into your /documents/teardown/mods/ folder.

     
    Add "tags="Latch"" to the VOX of each shape. DO NOT TAG THE JOINT! Otherwise, the script will not work and may cause a memory leak. Add sound effects by extending the tag to "Latch=vehicle" or "Latch=structure". More sounds will come later. Feel free to suggest new ones, especially if you already have sounds or links to sounds for me to use.
    Please ensure that all joints you wish to latch are in the closed position at limit 0, as this is what the script considers the "closed" position. This generally means that the door is closed in the .vox file.
