  1. Plane Flight (Demo/Beta)

    PLEASE READ:
    - This is a very rough and early version of the mod.
    - The flight physics still need work and I'll be adding a lot more to the mod as time goes on.
    - Do not reupload this mod or any parts of it without my permission.

    ABOUT
    - This mod introduces some basic flight mechanics to Teardown. It has a few planes like the A-10 Thunderbolt, Mig29, Spitfire and a Bombardier Jet. The planes have weapons like machine guns (mg), explosive mg (emg) and unguided-missiles. I will be adding more planes and weapons in the future.

    ADDING PLANES TO YOUR MAP
    - To add planes to your map, go to the Flying Planes Script folder. In that folder you will find the "Custom Instlall" folder.
    - Add the plane vox files to your map's "main" folder, add the xml <Vehicle> plane tags to your map's "main.xml" file.
    - Enable the script, start your map and enjoy 🙂

    FUTURE UPDATES
    - I plan to add things like missions and enemy plane AI later on.
    - I'll also be releasing planes in groups with things such as WW2 planes, Modern Warfare, Airliners and so on. Each major release will hopefully have it's own mission along with improvements to all aspects of the mod (better physics, hud, weapons).
    - Planes will get destroyed realistically, so if a wing falls off, lift is reduced and the plane spins out of control. If the rudder breaks, reduced yaw, and so on. If the engine breaks, reduced thrust and so on.

    HOW TO FLY
    - The plane controls are closer to a flight simulator than something like war thunder (I will try to add WT like flight style too)
    - Taking off: Set the throttle to 100% and gain lots of speed. Tilt the nose slightly up and let the plane climb.
    - The speed will increase until it matches the throttle amount. Example, 50% throttle will make the plane increase speed until 50% max speed.
    - Flying fast or too slow will make it harder to steer.
    - The plane can be steered with both mouse and keys

    CONTROLS
    - Movement:
    --- thrust+ = w
    --- thrust- = s
    --- air brakes = space
    - Steering:
    --- pitch = mouse up/down (keys: i or k)
    --- roll = mouse left/right (keys: j or l)
    --- yaw left = a
    --- yaw right = d
    - Weapons:
    --- primary weapon (bullets) = mouse1
    --- secondary (missiles) = mouse2
    - Misc:
    --- change camera = r
    --- enable/disable enemies = t
--- respawn (in a broken plane or in water) = y

    Q&A
    - Why do the boats disappear when they die? Because the body of water is huge and a floating boat creates a huge performance hit, so i just move them off map once they die
    - Customization? As of right now there aren't any customization options but I plan to add things like custom xml plane setup, physics properties (lift, top speed, handling) and plane weapon presets like interceptor, bomber and so on.

    CREDITS
    - Thanks to Rafale for creating the cockpits and improving the exterior of the planes (paintjobs, weapons, fine details)

If you have any suggestions for the mod, I'd be glad to hear them. You can leave them in the comments or message me in the official teardown discord.
Thanks for checking out my mod. I make these mods for all of you awesome people and I really hope you enjoy them 🙂

Call in a F15-E cluster airstrike using your TRIGR laser designator (spraycan).
    Airstrike Inbound
    by: Cheejins

    ABOUT:-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Call in a F15-E cluster airstrike using your TRIGR laser designator (spraycan).
Now featuring an A10 BRRRRRT strike (GAU-8/A Avenger Gatling Cannon - 30mm HEI rounds) (blowtorch)

    FUTURE UPDATES:--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Make sure you're following the mod to notified on any updates. This is an early version of the mod. I plan to add more features over time (some of which i already have), like: Simultaneous airstrikes. ✔️ Different types of airstrikes like:  an A10 brrr sweep ✔️ B2/B24 Nuke Planes coming in from different angles.  ✔️ Better jet flying animations, like swooping in and out.  ✔️ Thrown smoke grenade target designators. Bigger, better and more efficient explosions.  ✔️ More custom sounds.  ✔️ Physical bombs that dettach from the jet and drop on the target. Customization options  ✔️

    INSTALLATION:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
NOTE:  Other scripted mods can break the airstrike mod. This is a standalone mod.
!!!!!!!! Before installing any mods, always have a backup of the files you are replacing. !!!!!!!!
The steam teardown folder is only 1.2GB.
To make things simple you could backup the entire folder and restore it as a snapshot of your install.

              RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION:
The standard drag and drop. Replace all files when asked to.
Installing the airstrike with the recommended demo level I made:
                            TD 0.4
                            1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Teardown\.
                            2. Download the airstrike mod zip file and extract the folder "Airstrike Inbound x.x.x.x - by Cheejins" to your desktop.
3 Inside the folder you just extracted, there is a folder: "files for main install". Inside it are two more folders: "data" and "create".
                            4. Move the "data" and "create" folders from the "files for main install" folder into Teardown's main steam folder in step 1.
                            5. When you move the airstrike mod files to the teardown steam folder, you will be asked if you want to replace all files. Click yes.
                            6. Start up Teardown -> choose the "Create" option from the main menu -> choose the level called "basic level".
                            TD 0.5
Inside it are two more folders: "data" and "mods".
                            4. Move the "data" and "mods" folders from the "files for main install" folder into Teardown's main steam folder in step 1.
                            5. When you move the airstrike mod files to the teardown steam folder, you will be asked if you want to replace all files. Click yes.
                            6. Start up Teardown -> choose the "Mods" option from the main menu
6.a. Enable the Airstrike Inbound Script
6.b. Play the Airstrike Inbound map

                ALTERNATIVE INSTALLATION:
If you want to use the airstrike on any level, make sure to have the plane vox files in the level's folder.
The airstrike script works on any custom map but it will crash without the airstrike_f15e.vox and airstrike_a10.vox files in the level's
                            folder: TD 0.4 - (Teardown/create/filenameOfYourMap)
                            folder: TD 0.5 - (Teardown/mods/filenameOfYourMap/main)
You will also need this xml in your map's level's xml file. Put it anywhere between <scene> and </scene> tags of your map's xml file.
<!-- Do not change these values. The jet must spawn here. -->
                                                            <!-- f15 -->
                                                            <body tags="airstrike_f15" pos="1000 1000 -100" dynamic="true">
                                                                    <vox pos="0 0 0" rot="0 0 0" file="LEVEL/airstrike_f15.vox"/>
                                                            </body>
                                                            <!-- a10 -->
                                                           <body tags="airstrike_a10" pos="900 1000 -100" dynamic="true">
                                                                    <vox pos="0 0 0" rot="0 0 0" file="LEVEL/airstrike_a10.vox"/>
                                                           </body>
TD 0.4 - This xml code can also be found in: mod download folder /custom install / files for using airstrike on other maps

    CUSTOMIZATION:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Easy customization options in the script file. These will eventually get an in-game UI menu

TD 0.4 - Copy the line of text below into windows explorer to go straight to the file (mod must be installed):
     C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Teardown\data\mods\airstrike.lua

TD 0.5 - Copy the line of text below into windows explorer to go straight to the file (mod must be installed):
     C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Teardown\mods\Airstrike Inbound 2.0 - Script\main.lua
or if your mod is in the documents/teardown/mods folder, navigate to your documents folder first then open:
    Documents\Teardown\mods\Airstrike Inbound 2.0 - Script\main.lua

  4. Gravity Lifts (easy XML setup for your maps)

    Gravity Lifts
    By Cheejins

    ABOUT:
This mod creates easily customizable cylindrical gravity lifts that you can set up in your map, purely through XML.

    GUIDE:
NOTE: Sometimes the gravlift does not register large objects properly. This is because the complete center
of the object must be within the gravity lift. Any outer voxels of the object may not trigger the gravlift.
These gravlifts are pretty basic. I'm planning to add things like additive velocity, so the gravlifts don't just
do a stiff pull. Instead they will gradually change the objects direction towards the gravlift direction.
The gravity lifts can be set up for your map purely through the XML code using body tags.
There is a detailed legend in the xml file explaining all of the valid values for the gravlifts.
Here is a quick snippet of it:

    INSTALLATION:
Drag the contents of the mods folder to the Teardown/mods steam folder. Enable the script and try out the demo map.
NOTE: This mod only works with the new Teardown Experimental Beta (Teardown 0.5 and 0.5.1)

    CREDITS:
Special thanks to "Thomasims" for helping out with some of the geometry involved with the cylinders.

  5. Rocket and MG Warthog + Custom Demo Map

    ABOUT:

This is a M12 Warthog from the game Halo. It has a functional mg turret and a rocket varient.
It also has a realistic outer shell and a tougher inner metal frame, so it breaks in a realistic way.

I plan to continue updating this warthog mod and adding features as they become available.
These features include as a swivelling turret that aims where you are looking and moving ai covenant that shoot plasma and needles at you.

            Note:
                    - The turret has two angle settings:
                            1. Scroll mouse up to switch to distance firing. The bullets have less spread and shoot distant targets while the warthog is parked.
                            2. Scroll mouse down to enable driving firing. The bullets have more spread and are angled downward to shoot easier while driving.

    INSTALLATION:

            Note:
                    - The halo_warthog.lua file in the data/mods folder has an easy customization section at the top of the file.
You can choose the RPM of the warthog along with the asigned turret weapon.
                    - I've modified the default "vehicle.xml" scene and the ground.vox file in the create folder to help demo this mod.
It includes covenant you can run over and shoot, stones and metal poles as obstacles and ramps you can fling off of.

!!!!!!!! Before installing any mods, always have a backup of the files you are replacing. !!!!!!!!
The steam teardown folder is only 1.2GB.
To make things simple you could backup the entire folder and restore it as a snapshot of your installed mods.

            RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION:

Installing the warthog with the recommended demo level I made:

                    1. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Teardown\.
                    2. Move everything in the "Recommended Installation" folder into Teardown's main installation directory/folder.
                    3. common\Teardown\<the create and data folders go here>.
                    4. Replace all files when asked to. You can also add the mod to mods.lua manually.
                    5. Start up Teardown -> choose the "Create" option from the main menu -> choose the level called "Vehicle level".

            ALTERNATIVE INSTALLATION:

If you want to add the warthog to a different level:

                    1. Install the recommended way, but instead of replacing create/vehicle.xml, take all of the warthog code from
                            "Alternative Installation/warthog_xml/warthog_xml_code.xml"
                    2. Select all of the code: <vehicle> to the end </vehicle>
                    3. Open the .xml file of a level you want to add the warthog to.
                    4. Add the warthog's <vehicle> tag inbetween the <scene> </scene> tags of the level.
                    5. Add the halo_warthog.vox file to the folder of the map.
                    6. Make sure to install the warthog turret from the "Alternative Installation/data".
You will needs the mods.lua and whatever is in the mods folder.
                    7. Use the <vehicle pos="x z y"> of the tank's tag to position the warthog in the map.
Add 0.6 to the y position of the ground under the warthog (<vehicle pos="0 0.6 0">)

Once I figure out how, I'll be adding turret swivel and shooting functionality to the tank.
    INSTALLATION:

        Note:
I've modified the default "vehicle.xml" map in the create folder to help demo this mod. It includes covenant you can run over and cars you can crush.
You can of course just take the halo_scorpion_tank.xml contents and halo_scorpion_tank.vox file and add them to any level you'd like to.

!!!! Before installing any mods, always have a backup of the files you are replacing. In this case, back up the entire "create" folder !!!!

  7. Frag Grenade (pipebomb reskin)

This mod replaces the pipebomb game model with a green frag grenade.

Note: The thrown grenade is a 2x2 cube instead of the in-hand model. The in-hand model with the pin/handle was too big compared to other objects like cars and felt disproportionate, so I used a smaller "thrown" model that resembled the in-hand grenade. One upside of this is that the thrown grenade is pretty small, so it can be thrown into tigher spaces and further.

    Installation:
    1. Before installing any mods, always have a backup of the files you are replacing. In this case, backup the "vox" folder in step 2.
    2. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Teardown\data
    3. Unzip the downloaded file and drop the "vox" folder from the unzipped file into the Teardown/data folder mentioned in Step 2.
