About This File

A small Wild West style town i call SandyWood. All fantasy, though i did took some inspiration from films, shows and games. I have more buildings planned, but i am curious what you guys think so far.

Released

I found the ragdoll by alan8325 (Kinda Realistic Ragdoll Humans - Maps - TeardownMods) so i had to add this to the update 😉

More recent additions are some vegetation (trees and cacti) a bank and sheriff. Behind the building is something made for the ragdoll. 🤣😇

I saw a youtuber play this map and would to play it too. What do I need to do to put it into my game files. I am used to the old way before the recent update and it doesnt seem to work when I fit it into the mods folder. Help!

Response from the author:

You'll have to unzip the file and place the SandyWood day, and/or SandyWood Night map inside the mod map. This map you can find inside the Teardown map. Then you can start Teardown and click on start then mods. There you should see one or both SandyWood maps. Click the one you want to play and then click on the play button.

Beautiful map! I really get the feeling of the wild west! I explored pretty much every room in every house and was amazed at the awsome design and furnishing! Can't wait to see this map grow!

But let's also be real, there's no way these poor people survived my AC130 bombardment.

One of the best maps I've ever seen so for, the western theme is great. Keep up the good work!

The map is a beautiful work and I would love to see what the next update brings! I don't have many thing to recommend, but one of the things that I would recommend for the map would be something like cacti or a type of desert tree. Also, it would be great to add some type of automotive or way to move around the map easier. The rest of the map, such as the way the fire spreads and the detail shown in the map are all good and I hope to see more updates for the map!

Also one more thing, the road detail was amazing and was a nice touch added to the already detailed map.

Response from the author:

Trees and plants a deffenetly in the planning. As for automotive things concerned... I am thinking of how i can do this within the theme of the map, but i have no idea if it is possible, or how. A horse drawn wagon without the proper animations, or without the horse would look comical. Could eighter be fun, or look very strange, or both. Or i need to find a good reason for modern machines to be there. Making a filmset from the map for example. But then i want to have the map finished first. I'll see what inspiration i get as development continues.
