About This File

This is me testing out my recently learned 3D world grabber/Blender capabilities.

This one is bigger than my DK Island map, and contains a layer of water, hence the included .xml file.

Huge credit goes to Mudsox for showing me how it's done and Keltoi for showing him how it's done.

Turned out great! Glad to help in any way 😛 let me know if you ever are wanting to try to port over maps way bigger than this. There are ways of doing so, but it is a lot more work. For example I'm working on Blood Gulch from Halo, but to get it to scale I had to cut the model into 32 separate pieces in Blender and bake textures for each piece individually lol. It's a pain in the ass, but I think it's really cool to port maps from other games. Keep up the good work!

Response from the author:

Hello and thank you for the help! I think it's really fun to recreate my favourite childhood video game maps in Teardown, and even though I'm still just beginning with Nintendo 64 objects I hope to move onto bigger things.

I'm excited to try out your Blood Gulch because that was also an old favourite! And that's how I assumed bigger maps would have to be made, but the outcome would be well worth the work methinks.

Thanks for the support, and good luck to you!
