About This File

This mod is a development tool that allows you to execute Lua code inside "Teardown/data/run.lua" while in-game without needing to restart. The most useful feature of this mod is the ability for it to display print() messages and errors, which makes debugging certain code easier, and the ability to easily hook and un-hook functions to the hud.lua's draw() function (which lets you do stuff like draw UI on the screen without modifying any 'core' files).

If you'd like more detailed information on how to use this, visit it's GitHub repository here:

Released

This is a small release that allows tick functions to handle and display errors. Before, if any errors occurred inside of a tick function, it would break the draw() function and require you to restart the game. Now, an error will be displayed on the center of your screen (as usual) and the function itself will break and stop executing inside of draw().

Useful for testing small snippets of code or finding errors with an actual error output. Stupid as it seems this saved me hours on debugging.

Absolutely perfect. Helped me get my foot into the door for modding Teardown, and learning lua simultaneously.
